The school’s design was clearly inﬂuenced by the buildings of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, erected about 10 years earlier. This was the scene of the ﬁrst Mass ever celebrated in Outremont, on April 21, 1887. The home is believed to be the third-oldest residence within the city. Henri Bourassa, founding father of the newspaper Le Devoir, was supposedly as soon as a tenant right here.
